The Bridge Fund is seeking an English teacher to teach Tibetan students at the Nationalities Department of Qinghai Normal University, Xining City, Qinghai Province, PRC. Date: begins 1 March 2004 for 12 months; possibility of extension. Duties: up to 16 hours English teaching (contact/classrooms hours) per week to beginner to intermediate level students; some extra-curricular activities and remedial coaching. Qualifications: minimum BA and TESL qualification and/or experience; 3 years TESL experience, including one year in China, highly desirable; functional spoken Mandarin highly desirable; ability to live and work independently in a multicultural environment. Pay & Benefits: USD $11,000.
