The Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) – Worcester Society will present a slide-illustrated lecture on the restoration efforts at Baldan Baraivan, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located in the Khentii aimag of Mongolia. The talk will present an overview of the site within the context of the monastic tradition of Mongolia, repressed during most of the 20th century.
